nomaD

From the landlocked streets of Indiana to the Hollywood Hills and back, Januarie York has seen her voyage for love as a nomadic pilgrimage through self, others, and the world at large. Through the lens of her heart arrives an epic odyssey that reads like a cross-country backpacking expedition with true love as the ultimate destination. Along the way, these intimate poems and essays will plunge headfirst into hopeful skies while exploring the bruises left from flying too fast.

nomaD is a window seat expedition and a train wreck. It is a summer sail on a yacht cruising on stormy seas. In it, you will travel and you will feel everything from the sunshine on your shoulders to thunderstorms in your eyes. nomaD further proves that love is a quest whose real treasure is only ever found in self, which so happens to be the one thing you take with you no matter where you go. You will do more than read this book; you will experience it.
