It's All Love
Love is a word easily spoken but challenging in execution. Is it because we do not understand love or because we cannot handle the weight of our words? The ambiance of Valentine’s Day generally sets the tone for the first two weeks of February but there are many ways to define love outside of romance and intimacy. The right kind of love can inspire you and promote growth, which are the same characteristics as having a passion for something.
For my 30th birthday, I decided to display my passion with Love Bags. Why? Because everyone needs to feel loved. With the help of my dear friends and family, we assembled 30 bags filled with essentials such as socks, snacks, toothbrushes, toothpaste and more. We layered up and headed downtown (Chicago) to give to those who may not receive a gesture of love as often as we do. Overwhelmed with joy, we knew the recipients could feel the love and passion we poured into the gifts based on their responses.
I challenge you to take advantage of this season and discover your love language. Learn what is your passion and how you receive/show love, then act on it. Whether it is through acts of kindness or giving advice; let your passion show this month!
